Produced by tilde: Melbourne Trans and Gender Diverse Film Festival, our 2019 Filmmaking Workshop will explore different aspects of filmmaking and equip participants with the skills to produce films that are by, for, or about trans and gender diverse people.

Facilitated by trans-masculine filmmaker Emmett Aldred (Faghag2000, Desperately Seeking Shavers, and Dead End Film Festival), participants will learn fundamental and overarching principles of narrative filmmaking and explore expressive techniques without economic and social restraint.

Online applications close Wednesday August 28th, 5pm.

This two-day workshop will be held Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October at Footscray Community Arts Centre, Footscray. It is free to attend with lunch provided.
