Applications are now open for tilde’s 2nd free filmmaking workshop: Accessible Moving Image Making.

Accessible Moving Image Making is a free 2 day filmmaking workshop produced by tilde for trans and gender diverse people and their allies. The workshop will equip participants with the fundamental and overarching principles of narrative filmmaking and flesh out how they be applied to low budget and accessible moving image making. The workshop will run on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of October at Footscray Community Arts Centre and will be facilitated by filmmakers Anna Helme and Emmett Aldred.

Please note that submissions for tilde 2018 have closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted their films! The team is now hard at work preparing a program of the best that Trans & Gender Diverse cinema has to offer. Our full 2018 Festival program will be announced at the Festival launch on Thursday 11 October at Hares & Hyenas. The Festival itself will be held from Thursday 8 – Sunday 11 November at Footscray Community Arts Centre. Put these dates in your calendars and watch this space for more details.
